At PetroLedger, we get to know our clients pretty well. We want you to know who we are, too. There’s a lot more personality than you might expect to find at a financial firm, and while professionalism is our first order of business, creating a fun work environment is always close behind! Today we’d like to introduce Client Account Manager Paula Stanton, who is part of our Dallas team. We sat down with her to ask a few questions and get to know her a little better…
The best thing happened to me so far this year is this: we bought a pontoon boat, and I am very excited to spend time at the lake with my family and friends!
My parents both worked in the Oil & Gas industry, and my mother actually hired me when I was 19 to work in the file room at Oilwell Supply company’s headquarters. I worked up through several departments there. The headquarters moved offices to Houston, and then I went to work for a drilling company, learning a lot about operations. From there, I went to work for an independent oil & gas operator, and finally, EDFS. Learning so much from each of these companies has enabled me to perform various duties.
I would definitely audition for Wheel of Fortune!
My specific role at PetroLedger is Client Account Manager. My day to day activities consist of AP, joint interest billing, revenue, DOI and owner maintenance and transfer, cash management, payroll, financial statement, Texas severance tax reporting, and all that entails within each of these. I have extensive client communications on a daily basis.
A current trend I just don’t understand is self driving cars!
