They are the best of the best — our All-American team, if you will — and everything that they do makes PetroLedger such a special and unique company to work for and with. These are our unsung heroes, working diligently in the background to ensure that the services we offer are top-tier and that our clients are satisfied with the results we produce. We’d like to take a moment to show our appreciation to them for all that they do, and give you a chance to get to know them a little bit better.
Our first Outstanding PetroLeader is Neal Boswell, the senior manager over our regulatory department. Keep reading to see what makes Neal so special, and why he’s such a vital part of our company.
The Man, The Myth, The Leader
Under Neal’s purview as senior manager, PetroLedger’s regulatory department has grown from a small two-person operation to a team of seven regulatory rockstars that handle what has become one of the most sought-after services that we offer. Nearly all of our clients request that we handle regulatory work on their behalf, and Neal and his team are always up to the challenge. Currently, the regulatory team provides services for 115 clients and reports to 13 different states.
Neal is the lead-by-example type of guy. Nobody works harder or smarter than him, and that work ethic has heavily influenced his team, creating a well-oiled regulatory machine. They always get the job done, and they do it well.
Cool, Calm and Collected
Running a regulatory department is an extremely high stress job with strict deadlines that can’t be missed, but Neal makes it look easy. His composure and professionalism never waivers, regardless of the pressure he’s under. And his dedication knows (almost) no bounds. Unless he’s on a trip, taking his kids to a hockey tournament, or on a bad Mountain Dew bender (we don’t have the science to support this, but it sounds right), he is always available. Even when he unplugs, he doesn’t fully unplug. He’s fully committed to PetroLedger and our clients.
Neal Boswell — The Guy to Know
When it comes to regulatory work, Neal is the guy you want to have in your corner. His breadth of knowledge of the regulatory space is some of the best in the industry, and his expertise gives quick comfort to potential and existing clients with any questions or concerns. Furthermore, Neal has contacts everywhere that he can reach out to as a resource, and he’s always quick to take on reporting in any state. There’s no job that he and his team can’t handle.

Grant Sparks came to PetroLedger after our merger with Associated Resources, Inc. His grandfather was a geologist and oilman, so Grant always knew he wanted to work in the energy industry. He has a BA in accounting as well as his MBA, and began his career with IBM Business Consulting Services supporting several energy companies. In 2015, he joined the ARI team. In his free time, he likes to travel and visit National Parks.
