Chad Smith
President
Chad Smith is a seasoned energy executive with 30 years of experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and asset operations. His combination of financial expertise and operational insight has positioned him as a trusted leader across a wide range of strategic and commercial initiatives. Chad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Scott Phipps
Scott Phipps serves as Chief Executive Officer of PetroLedger Accounting & Land, where he leads the company’s strategic growth as a nationwide outsourcing partner for the global energy industry. Under his leadership, PetroLedger has expanded its scalable suite of accounting, land administration, division order, and regulatory compliance services for upstream and midstream operators of all sizes. Scott brings more than two decades of finance and energy industry experience, including senior leadership roles in investor relations and finance at Tesoro and TPC Group. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Texas A&M University.
Steve Hernandez
Steve Hernandez is a Human Resources and Organizational Development executive based in San Antonio, Texas, with more than 25 years of experience advancing leadership capability and organizational effectiveness. His expertise spans talent development, culture transformation, engagement, and performance management, with a track record of designing strategies and programs aligned to business objectives. He has held senior leadership roles across multiple industries, including telecom, healthcare, entertainment, manufacturing, and oil and gas.
Steve holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Human Resources Management and is certified in numerous leadership development and assessment methodologies. He is known for delivering practical, customized solutions that strengthen talent pipelines and drive organizational impact.
Caitlan Capps
Caitlan Capps serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at PetroLedger Accounting & Land, where she leads revenue strategy, market expansion, and strategic partnerships across the company’s growing client base. She brings more than a decade of leadership in energy technology and B2B SaaS, with prior executive roles at Qube Technologies, Quorum Software, Aucerna, and 3esi-Enersight, spanning operations, consulting, and business development across the U.S. and Canada. Caitlan is especially passionate about partnering with early- and growth-stage energy companies to sharpen go-to-market execution and operational strategy. She holds a degree from the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business.
Shannah Goins
Shannah has over 30 years of oil and gas experience. She has been with the company for 20 years in various roles related to client services and has touched all accounting functions. She served as Client Account Manager for many different clients over the years. She was promoted to Director of Client Success and worked with potential clients to scope new services and onboard them into monthly operations. To fill a need in operations, she returned to that group and served as Director, managing the AP/JIB and GL departments. She was promoted to Vice President, Accounting Services in May of 2024 and served in that role until her recent promotion. Shannah now serves as Senior VP of Accounting, Land Administration, and Regulatory operations. Client services is truly her passion, and she is thankful for all the wonderful clients and talented team members she has worked with over the years. Shannah has a bachelor’s in accounting and is a CPA.

Grant Sparks
Grant Sparks serves as Vice President of Regulatory Services at PetroLedger, where he leads a team of regulatory experts overseeing reporting and compliance for over 80 operators across nearly all oil- and gas-producing states, as well as federal and tribal jurisdictions. His team maintains a relentless focus on meeting critical deadlines with accuracy and helping clients navigate an evolving regulatory landscape. Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA and brings over 25 years of industry experience. Raised in a family of oil producers, he worked in the patch at an early age. Grant has a deep understanding of field operations and the realities operators face. He is an accountant with a passion for the patch!
Jamie Edison
Jamie is a graduate of Oklahoma University and has over 23 years of oil & gas accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting, revenue functions, and client account management.
Cassandra Rauch
Cassandra Rauch serves as Vice President of Land, where she oversees land administration operations and works closely with clients to provide strategic solutions that support their business objectives. With more than 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Cassandra has built a career leading land administration functions for an operator, with expertise in lease administration, division orders, owner relations, acquisitions and divestitures, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership. Her passion for developing people, optimizing processes, and delivering exceptional client experiences has been a hallmark of her career. Cassandra holds a Juris Doctor and has been a licensed attorney since 2007.
Neal Boswell
Neal received a degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and has over 20 years of accounting experience. He has extensive experience in regulatory, including severance tax, ONRR, and most state, federal, and tribal reporting.
Brenda Scrivner
Brenda has a BBA in Finance from Northeastern State and over20 years of oil & gas experience, including accounts payable, joint interest billing and general ledger reporting, as well as division of interest maintenance.
Diana Freeman
Diana is one of PetroLedger’s Senior Managers. She has a BS in Education and Business from Northeastern State University, and has over 16 years of experience working in oil & gas accounting.
Andrew James
Andrew joined the PetroLedger team in June 2021 after serving various roles for a PE-backed oil & gas company for seven years. He has experience with financial reporting, general ledger, revenue distribution and client relations.
Treasa Harris
Treasa graduated from OSU. Not wanting a career in public accounting, she interviewed and got a job in oil & gas accounting at BP Amaco. Treasa has worked with several companies within the industry over the years, and now serves as the general ledger senior manager at PetroLedger.
Tina Slagle
Tina is an experienced accounting professional with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry. She has a Bachelor of Science (BS) focused in Accounting from Langston University, and Finance from Oklahoma State University.
Megan Yoachum
Megan is an accomplished accounting professional with more than 20 years of experience leading financial operations across the energy and accounting services industries. She specializes in full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and process improvement, with a proven track record of building efficient workflows and mentoring high-performing teams. Megan earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Management from Colorado State University Global in 2025 and is committed to operational excellence, continuous learning, and helping organizations achieve long-term financial success.
Steve Burnett
Steve has 30+ years of experience in oil and gas accounting, focused mainly on regulatory accounting and Regulatory Audit Coordination. Outside of work, he is an avid collector of rock and jazz vinyl records as well as rock posters and memorabilia. Steve enjoys feeding the ducks and Canada geese that come to his yard every day, waiting for their breakfast and dinner. His family consists of two adopted cocker spaniels, Tex and Cooper, whom he adores and who adore him.
Vicki Robinson
Vicki is an experienced land professional and manages PetroLedger’s Division Orders team. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Oklahoma State University, and has over 25 years of experience working for oil & gas operators in active drilling programs and oversight of non-operated properties. She has worked in all areas of the land department as a Landman, Land Contracts/Lease Administrator and Division Order Analyst covering properties in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Colorado, North Dakota, Montana, Utah, New Mexico, Louisiana, Ohio and West Virginia.
Cody Walker
Cody Walker has worked in the oil and gas industry for 15 years. He specializes in the Land side of the industry, with experience as a Landman, Project Manager, and, most recently, as our Manager of Lease Records at PetroLedger Energy Partners.
