Staff Spotlight: Jordan Driskell

Each person has a background and skill set that makes them vital to our mission. Today, we want to highlight one of these team members, Jordan Driskell, our Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Jordan’s Background

Jordan’s background is varied, and his experiences in many industries brought him to PetroLedger about four years ago. Prior to his time with us, he worked at a major insurance carrier, a sports boat company, and even for one of our software partners, when they were known as WolfePak Software (now Pak Energy).

Jordan’s role and general responsibilities keep him busy as he leads PetroLedger’s sales & marketing team. From assisting the sales team with new deals and potential clients, to helping marketing decide the best campaigns to run, plus all of the corporate-level responsibilities he’s taken on as a Senior VP — it’s a hectic schedule, to say the least.

Jordan’s Role Day-To-Day

“My average day is off the rails.”

He starts his day off like many others, checking his email to see if any “major forest fires” have cropped up overnight. Once he’s in the office, he is big on meeting regularly with sales and marketing to ensure that everyone is on the same page and working towards their goals. This cumulates into weekly meetings, quarterly sessions to reset and refocus, and one huge annual meeting to plan ahead for the year to come. Alongside planning, he spends a lot of time tackling issues that pop up to keep distractions from taking the rest of the team off track.

From his everyday interactions with the sales and marketing staff to his peers on the executive committee, they are the best people he has ever had the opportunity to work with. The culture here helps keep that team together and running smoothly. To Jordan, this means we foster the culture of being able to pivot and quickly adapt to changes. With over 300 clients all with different needs and in different stages of work, this is essential. On the sales side of the house, this means that we are talking to potential clients, setting scoping up for them, and helping them make an informed decision at the end of the day.
