These are our unsung heroes, working diligently in the background to ensure that the services we offer are top-tier and that our clients are satisfied with the results we produce. We’d like to take a moment to show our appreciation to them for all that they do and give you a chance to get to know them a little bit better.
This month, our Outstanding PetroLeader is Wendi Lightfoot, Private Client Account Specialist. Keep reading to see what makes Wendi such a vital part of our company.
Big Help for Our Smaller Clients
Wendi’s role as a Private Clients Account Specialist means her day-to-day is always different. Each client requires something slightly different, so Wendi wears many hats. Her “normal” workload includes handling AP and revenue, utilizing existing software, or manually entering data. This expands into the whole spectrum of accounting, including bank reconciliations, depositing, and so much more.
But that isn’t all! Some clients require what we call “special projects”, and we are happy to help with that. Wendi even enjoys these as they keep the work interesting.
“I have completed special projects for clients that are out of the normal range, and that makes this job more interesting every day; it’s not just the same routine.”
She Has a True Passion for Her Work
Wendi’s attention to detail and expert organizational skills set her apart as an exceptional PetroLeader. She’s always willing to answer fellow team members’ questions and/or roll up her sleeves and help. She volunteered to be the first presenter for our 2025 team training sessions, which help our team improve client processes to save both PetroLedger and clients time and money. In 2024, she took it upon herself to focus on reviewing and updating each Private Client’s desk procedures to ensure that anyone on our team can step in and complete client work in the event of a vacation or an emergency without any issue.
For Wendi, clients come first, even if that means sacrificing a bit of personal time to make sure that the work is done. She comes into work every day before 6 am and often leaves after 5 pm to complete client work. She cares so much about her clients that she has even taken her laptop on vacation in case she is needed. She represents PetroLedger in the best possible way through her work excellence.

Angella is the newest addition to the PetroLedger Marketing team. She comes to us with many years of experience in various marketing settings creating graphics and running ad campaigns. She has a Bachelors in Graphic Design and Media Arts.
